About

I am a software developer by training and experience. I have spent over a dozen years in leadership positions running software development teams working on various components up and down the stack, closed and open source, on both Windows and Linux. This blog is focused mostly on my recent years managing the Mesa i965 team at Intel’s Open Source Technology Center. I started this in 2011, and it has been an incredible ride working with some of the brightest minds (and nicest souls) in the graphics business. I hope others can take something away from our experience that helps them build uncompromisingly good software, in the open.
